Paperback Pals
Paperback Pals is a reading literacy program for children with autism from grades 2 to 5 with the support of high school students. Each meeting will be one hour and divided into two sections: reading and participating in literacy activities. During this hour, students will read a picture book and be asked to complete an activity associated with the content of the book. This way, these students are not only able to reinforce their reading comprehension skills, but also socialize with their peers outside of the school setting.
Our meetings will be held on the last Sunday of each month at the Princeton Public Library on the 3rd floor in the reading room from 1 to 2 pm. Interested in joining? Contact us @ jackiesworldorg@gmail.com or go to princetonlibrary.org → search “Paperback Pals” in events → and sign up for our next meeting. We look forward to seeing you there!
